Okay, so I know I said the last post would be short and it wasn't. But this one will be, I promise!
The first piece I worked on was the 'Wine a bit' one, and all I (thought) I had to keep the three pieces together at the time was a staple gun. It worked, and would have stayed together if I were to be very careful and move it around as little as possible.
As I was cleaning my kitchen I was straightening up our little 'junk' counter where we keep papers and keys and everything else small that doesn't have a home. I whipped out those handy little hooks I bought at Home Depot to screw into the wall above the junk counter to hold our keys. I immediately thought about how perfect they would be to hold the pieces of wood for my project together. So that's what they became used for also. After I screwed them into the wood I put it back up on the wall where it originally was in the kitchen.
It's a beauty
Here are some close-ups of the hooks on my "Live, Laugh, Love" sign
(don't mind the dog hair, I have a husky!)
Here are the other two projects I've used hooks for as well
So much fun!
Thank for reading and have an amazing weekend :)
